Our History

  1971.  What images we call to mind when we think of that year!  I was a young man just starting a family and this business.  Moreland Avenue, our first location, had one building housing Sales, Service, and Parts and employing thirty-one people.  Within five years we added a Sales building and twelve Service bays.  By 1988, we added the Body Shop thus increasing our scope of services for our customers.  The children are grown and the business - Nalley Motor Trucks - has grown also.  Thirty years have passed.  Our three locations each have their own Service and wholesale and retail Parts departments, plus our newest member, the Market Drive Body Shop.

  Let me tell you about the two men with me in the picture to the left.  On the left is Dave Coberth, Vice President and General Manager.  He has been with me since 1975.  Dave was a computer salesman before he launched his truck career as a salesman.  I'd say he - and we - made a great decision!  Twenty-six years and still going strong.  We couldn't have done it without you, man.  You're the best!

  Our growth through the years should also be attributed to the fine men and women - now numbering 260 plus - who have staffed the service bays and parts counters, delivered parts to our customers, sold vehicles to new and long-time customers, answered the phones, and handled the mountains of paperwork.

  But above all, we want to thank you - our customer.  Your loyalty and patronage are the sole reason for our endeavors and our success.
